There is something sacred about a parent who keeps praying.
Not the polished, perfectly worded prayers—but the quiet, persistent ones whispered in the in-between moments… the ones prayed through tears, through waiting, through not yet seeing. Whether you are a mother or father, whether you are standing shoulder to shoulder with a spouse or carrying the weight alone—your prayers matter. They are seen. They are heard. And they are never wasted. Scripture reminds us that one generation tells the next of His faithfulness, that our deepest calling is to place the knowledge of God before our children again and again—trusting that the seeds we sow will take root in His perfect timing. “Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands.” (Psalm 78:7) “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) So don’t stop. “Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Not when they are little and learning. Not when they are grown and choosing their own way. Not when the silence feels long or the distance feels wide. Keep praying when you don’t see movement. Keep believing when you don’t see evidence. Keep entrusting their hearts to the One who loves them even more than you do. Because no child ever outgrows the covering of a praying parent. And no prayer lifted in love ever falls to the ground. The story is still being written. God is still at work. Keep believing and praying “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” (3 John 1:4) YOUR prayers are part of the miracle. 🤍
